Alley arrived at our door on a frigid Friday morning about 5 weeks ago.  She was brought to us by a Good Samaritan, who found her sleeping next to a dumpster.  As it was only 14 degrees that morning, we are certain that she would not have managed much longer, if she had not been brought in.  Alley was not only malnourished, but she was very pregnant!  The Doctor's assessment was that was was close to term.

It did not take long before the doctors and staff, decided that Alley had found a new home with us.  It was an easy decision.  Not only because she was in dire need of medical attention, but she was/is the sweetest, most loving, and grateful dog you will ever meet.

Exactly 1 week later, Alley delivered her puppies.  We now help her care for seven healthy pups.
