Heart worm Disease

Heartworms are parasites that inhabit the heart and lungs of infected dogs. Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes and can cause serious health problems, and may eventually lead to heart failure and death. Signs of heartworm disease includes coughing, breathing difficulty, and reduced ability to exercise.

Heartworms can be prevented by giving your pet a monthly heartworm pill.
