GERIATRIC ANESTHESIA

Sevoflurane, which is the same anesthetic gas used in children, is used in our geriatric anesthetics.  This is used because of its fast and safe induction and recovery periods.  Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is also required within eight weeks of the anesthetic procedure to verify proper organ function.
